Music welcome message

Music Activities at KGV

The KGV Music Department would really like to help encourage your children to learn an instrument – particularly the ‘endangered species’ (bassoon, viola, oboe, french horn, trombone and double bass). Please take a look at the attached activities leaflet and get in touch with a music teacher if you would like some help with finding an instrumental teacher.

We also have many activities on offer and would particularly like to push our Training Orchestra and the KGV Orchestra – both will rehearse on Tuesdays after school, as well as our Year 7&8 Choir (Tuesdays) and the Senior Choir (Fridays) that both rehearse during lunchtime.
