Speeding Cars on the Driveway

Parents are requested to respect and obey the speed limit on our driveway. There have been a couple of ‘near misses’ lately, the most recent involving a black Tesla that narrowly missed some students. Children are often not concentrating on traffic, especially at School where they presume they are safe – and they should be.

We recognise that the traffic jam in the morning can be frustrating.  Those that choose to drive into the School should accept and plan for that.  Most schools ban all private vehicles and we are considering that option. We have guards, put teachers out in the morning and are getting more speed bumps but it is hoped that our parents, however late for an appointment they may be, can also play their part in keeping our children safe.
