Head of Middle School’s Message

Dear Parents,

Kindness Week has been brought to a suitable climax with all the hard work and endeavour on display within the performances of Inter House Music. Teamwork and camaraderie brought the ensembles together and the audience was able to acknowledge them and all the individual talents that lit up the stage. Unfortunately, at the time of writing the results were not in, but I look forward to sharing the news of winners with you next week. With regards to Kindness Week, we know that the smallest gesture can make such a difference and I hope to see our community embrace this fact.

Thank you very much to all parents who were in school for the Year 8 and 9 Student Led Conference this week. Tied into these meeting were presentations for parents on positive relationships, cyber bullying and the Year 9 Experience. Copies of these presentations will be shared through the bulletin.

It is all about numbers next week as the activities of Maths Week will be reverberating through the corridors of KGV. PI(e) baking and relays are just some of the activities that are in place to challenge the minds of students and staff alike.

If you have some time to help KGV School move forward then we would really like to see you at our second ROAR event. This takes place on Saturday 10 March at 2.00pm in the LRC.

Finally, all budding chefs have a few more days to get their entries in for the KGV heats of ESF Chef. The closing date is Monday 19 March.

Have a good weekend.
