KGV students dance as many hours as possible for charity

The Danceathon is an event hosted by Jockey Club Sarah Roe School where the money will be raised through dancing for as many hours as possible! During the event, plenty of KGV students and staff participated in a mass dance session. This event isn’t a dance competition- all dance moves was welcomed, including a few old school and modern dance moves. When it was announced that for a few minutes, dance moves were only to be from the game ‘Fortnite’, the students got even more excited. The interpretation of what dancing means is very open. The only requirement was that each individual who participates is actually moving in some way. The aim of the event is to raise funds for Jockey Club Sarah Roe School and the Unicef Kid Power project, which will provide energy bars for children living in underdeveloped areas of the world.
