HIGH PERFORMANCE ATHLETE – NATHANIEL CHAN Y13

One of our elite sportsperson at KGV – Nathaniel Chan in year 13 – has been selected to represent HK in the 2nd Asian Equestrian Show Jumping Competition.Nathaniel was competing against 17 other counties including Australia. After being in 7th place after round 1 on the Saturday, Nathaniel rode brilliantly on Sunday winning the morning qualifying round to make the final 8 and then winning the 2 round final in the afternoon making him the Asian Champion. The day had a lot of KGV input – the horse he rode in the qualifying competitions being owned and trained by our own Annabel Dyson in year 11. There were many KGV students cheering him on over the 2 days.
