IB Theatre Arts TAPS Conference
Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd December at KGV
This weekend 90 IB Theatre students, teachers, IB examiners and professional artists gathered from across Hong Kong for an immersive learning experience, hosted at KGV.
Students from KGV, WIS, SIS, DC, Chinese International, GSIS, Yew Chung IS and Victoria Shanghai Academy came together to explore theatre, all linked to their learning and assessment on the IB Theatre course – 29 hours of learning in total, over 3 days.
They saw two professional performances. One from ‘Ad Infinitum Theatre’ in the UK and one from ‘I Made Sidia’, Master Balinese Puppet and Topeng Performer. Both of these overseas artists led Master class workshops with the students too.
And loads of professional sharing as well training with the professional artists!
