Well Done, Rysha Khanna!

Rysha (Year 9) won an outstanding award in the “The Ocean’s New Clothes” T-Shirt Graphic Design Competition!
All the entries had a specific theme, which was ‘the beauty of Hong Kong’s Marine Environment’ or ‘keep marine environment clean’.

Rysha designed a t-shirt called ‘Find the Fish’, where the concept of the art work illustrated the amount of garbage in the ocean compared to marine life. It highlights how all the plastic we throw is harmful to the ocean and damages diverse marine life. The shirt slogan, which reads [There are(aren’t) plenty of fish in the sea (anymore).], further explains the image on it, by editing a popular saying to reflect the truth.
Congratulations to Rysha!
