Screening of LIKE for Y13s and their parents

To coincide with graduation evening we will be screening the documentary “LIKE” for Y13 students and their families.

“LIKE” is a documentary exploring the impact of social media on our lives and the effects of technology on the brain. It focuses on teenagers and ‘stars’ four students from KGV; Natalie Kainz, Simar Panjeta, Kusum Mirchandani and Katie White, who were interviewed last year when the director, Scilla Andreen, came to KGV to work with our media students with her previous film ‘Angst’. Other schools in Hong Kong also feature. The goal of the film is to inform, educate, and inspire people of all ages to self-regulate their social media use.
