Moving day for the turtles.

KGV has been housing and rearing these Red Neck Sliders for many years, and on 14 February the 16 turtles were rehomed, just next door, in a bigger enclosure that has airier and can be appreciated more easily by our students.

The ECO club has spent the last couple of terms planning and helping to build the enclosure and the students took great pleasure on the day to personally welcome the turtles into their new home.  The ECO club is still developing the area with more native plants and seating for viewers.
