KGV Alumna Climbs Mount Kilimanjaro for Charity

KGV Alumna Araanya Daryanani (Class of 2018), currently in her first year at the University of Warwick is planning to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2019 while raising £3000 for the Meningitis Research Foundation.

The Meningitis Research Foundation is an international charity that brings together people and expertise to defeat meningitis and septicaemia around the world. The sad fact is that meningitis and septicaemia kill around 1,000 people around the world every day, especially children under five who are more vulnerable.

Araanya will be participating in Warwick Kilimanjaro Trek 2019 to help support the work of Meningitis Research Foundation. Her climb will help increase awareness on the deadly disease and spread the word on how we could help save lives. It would be massively appreciated if students and staff can have a look on the work the Meningitis Research Foundation does and help support Araanya’s fundraising climb this year. Your generosity will greatly help out the charity and create a positive impact for the community.
