Improvement Sprints
We are excited that after school on the last Monday our staff participated in a two hour professional learning session with Dr Simon Breakspear who is an acclaimed international speaker on ‘Improvement Sprints’.
Simon presented a collaboration model that encourages teachers to work in small professional learning teams.
This is one of our initiatives to promote the idea that teacher learning needs to be at the forefront of all that we do, and the key role of the teacher is to evaluate continuously the impact they are having on the learning of students in their classes.
