Head of Middle School’s Message

Dear Parents,

Throughout the course of this week it has been nice to receive messages from our Year 10 students while they have been out on Work Experience. It is clear to see that there has been a lot of learning going on, both from a highlights and lowlights perspective. I am looking forward to catching up with all Year 10 students next week to delve further into their time away from school.

While Year 10’s have been getting a taste of the real world Year 9 students have been taking action for their Year 9 Experience programme. I know more is to follow for these students throughout the remainder of this term, but it has been good to see their motivation and the steps they have taken on their journey so far. Across a number of areas Year 8’s have shown their engagement with STEM activities this week with a final opportunity for me and them to wrestle with the problems on Day Two of the STEM project this Friday.

As we near the end of the month of May it is well to remind you about ESF’s policy of providing one month’s notice for withdrawal of students from school. If the end of this school year is going to be the time that we say goodbye to you from KGV then please do get in touch and let us know as soon as possible. Notification should be sent to Ms Kwok (rita.kwok@kgv.edu.hk) and she will help you with the withdrawal process.

Please remember that there is a Public Holiday next Tuesday, the 22nd May, so there will be no school. Enjoy the time with your family.

Have a good weekend.
