Head of Middle School’s Message

Dear Parents,

This week we have asked students to engage with the updated uniform expectations for next academic year. Part of this was to collect information about the changes they feel they need to make to their uniform to ensure they meet the expectations that are being set. From the information we have received it is clear that the vast majority know what the expectations are and are already making plans on how best to meet them. So you can best help them to do this the details can be found here – Uniform Expectations.

As we look ahead to next week it will be a busy time across the Middle School. Year 10 students are heading out to the world of work and I am looking forward to hearing all about their Work Experience when they return to school on Monday 21st May. Year 8 students are involved in STEM projects and being given the opportunity to marvel at the geography of the world renowned Hong Kong Geopark. Not wanting to be out done Year 9 students will be completing the first of their “action” days as part of the Year 9 Experience.

With an eye on things happening beyond next week please note that with the Public Holiday to celebrate Buddha’s birthday we are not in school on Tuesday 22nd May. Swim heats in preparation for the 2018 Swim Gala take place from Monday 28th May – details of timings are in the school bulletin.

Have a good weekend.
