A flag for Antarctica

KGV students entered the UK Polar Network Flag competition. The purpose of the competition is to celebrate the Antarctic Treaty and the collaboration across the world from global scientists. The students were asked to design a flag because Antarctica does not have one. The flag created by our student, Ariel in Year 9, was being chosen as the winning flag! The beautiful design was handcrafted and is being celebrated by Scientist Georgia Watson in Antarctica.
