PTSA Chinese New Year Celebration

Many students and parents joined the PTSA Chinese New Year Celebration at the Piazza during lunch time today. Large crowd of students and teachers visited the food stalls set up by our parents for traditional Chinese food such as Chow Mein (fried noodles), Char Siu (barbecued Pork) and Cheong Fan (rice noodle roll).

The food stalls were accompanied by some student musical performances, which included a group singing of famous Chinese songs “Mo Li Hua” (Jasmine Flowers) and “Gongxi Gongxi” (Wishing You Happiness and Prosperity), traditional Chinese instrumental music played by Chinese flutes, Guzheng (Chinese zithers), Erhu (Southern Fiddle) and piano.

We would like to extend our thanks to PTSA, KGV Chinese Department, parents and students for coming today! Happy Chinese New Year! Kung Hei Fat Choy!
