HKSSF Division One Cross Country
21st November 2016 – The Hong Kong Golf Club (Fanling)
The KGV Cross Country team experienced great success at the HKSSF Division One Cross Country Championships. We had a strong team who adapted well to the new technical course at the Hong Kong Golf Club course at Fanling. The A and B grade boys teams completed a 6km course, and our A and B grade girls along with the C grade boys and girls teams completed a 4km course. The stars of the day were our young C Grade girls team who took on the advice they were given about how to run the course and showed excellent determination in following their race tactics in the starting pens and throughout the 4km run placing 1st out of 14 teams. We had a number of A Grade runners who participated in the 24 hour relay over the weekend who showed true team commitment and grit to represent KGV after such a demanding weekend, well done.
