Pre Allocation Term 1
Dear Parents
It is great to see so many students signing up for CAS activities and planning out their program for term 1. The sign up window closes at 5.00pm on Sunday 1st September. On Monday 2nd of September, any oversubscribed activities will go through a random allocation, and following this, students/parents will receive an email confirming the activities that have been allocated.
A few key reminders:
- Students are not allowed to participate in their chosen activity unless they are signed up, been allocated and have parental approval. The activity register for each session will only populate for the students that have been approved for the activity.
- Most Term 1 activities will start week beginning the 9th of September. A few sports have already begun, due to the pressures of their season starting soon and students will be notified of training times and match dates.
- If students do not get allocated to their chosen activities, then I encourage them to look at the other opportunities in the CAS program that still have space. Often, new student led initiatives come online later on in the term.
- For paid activities, you will receive an e-payment invoice to be settled before the students can attend the program
Finally, I would like to thank parents for your support with allowing students to take part in the CAS program. I would also welcome any feedback or suggestions you have to improve the CAS Program, in particular activities that you would like to see offered in the CAS Program at KGV.
