Wellbeing
We care about the wellbeing of our students at KGV. As parents you will be more than aware of the various stresses and pressures your children are under and the anxiety this can create.
This week we have been screening the film “Angst” with all our Middle school (Y7-Y10) students, as well as the Y6 students who will be joining us next year, and their parents. We hope this has been useful in helping students realise they are not alone in feeling anxiety and may help them feel more empowered to speak to you, or their friends and teachers, about any worries they have. Thank you for your involvement as we highlight this important issue and the feedback we have received so far. Any further feedback and comments is gratefully received via this google form. Thank you.
Students are reminded that we are very lucky to have a team of dedicated counselors here at KGV. Demand is high, but any student wishing to see a counselor can arrange an appointment by talking to their tutor or by directly emailing student.support@kgv.edu.hk.
I want to share a couple of articles that have recently been highlighted by colleagues and parents. Thank you for sharing and please do continue to send through articles.
