Student Wellbeing Support

Wellbeing is something that has been at the forefront of many people’s minds during the last few months, and we’d like to remind all students and parents that, albeit it in a slightly altered form, our support services are still up and running. Parents, please remind your students of the support available to them through school:

Counseling

KGv has just appointed two new counsellors, Jimmy and Edrie, who join our team of Social Workers in the Wellbeing Centre at KGV. To read more about them and our existing staff please see the counselling page of our wellbeing website.

You can email any of the counsellors individually or use the email student.support@kgv.edu.hk to request an appointment. Again, all FAQs and more information can be found on Counsellors and Social Workers page.

Wellbeing Ambassadors

If you haven’t already, please make sure you follow #kgvwellbeing on Instagram. Our team of 22 student wellbeing ambassadors (in years 11 and 12) post daily messages of support and inspiration and can help you feel connected with the KGV community. The Wellbeing Ambassadors have been trained to provide peer support and you can reach out to them by DM on the Insta account, or by messaging them personally.

General Support

If you’re not sure what you need, complete this google form. And someone will contact you within 3 days to offer support. Remember you can also reach out to your tutor, head or year, a trusted teacher, the school nurse or any trusted adult.
