Message from the Principal

It is about Community

Dear Parents

This is just a quick note to say thank you for your support. It has been a challenging few days, and thankfully, we have a positive outcome. Our thoughts and best wishes again go out to the family and other people directly involved.

I always think that you can best measure the strength and solidarity of a community, in times of need. Over the past few days, our community has stood up and responded with support, compassion, understanding, and action.

Thank you to our staff who have supported our students. Especially our Student Development Office, led by Vice Principal Ms. Carole Beer. The last few days have been symbolic of the great work they do every lesson and every day, looking after our students.

Our students, especially our Year 13 students, have displayed a great sense of responsibility, patience and understanding that is beyond their years. Our students are remarkable, and they continue to define the quality of our school and build the family that is KGV. This makes me think our community of the future, is in good hands.

I hope you all enjoy the public holiday tomorrow, with family and friends.

Kind regards

Mark Blackshaw
