LGBQT Ribbons

Raising awareness of social issues is always an important part of KGV. To show support for diversity, students from the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) are hosting a few activities that will take place in several days. To start of Diversity & Pride Week, one of our activities allowed students to purchase Pride ribbons to support and help raise awareness for the LGBQT Community.

One of the organisers emphasised that “Many LGBQT students cannot come out to their families.” The event strongly supports KGVs vision as a ‘school for one’ and aims to make the school a place where students can feel safe, accepted and be comfortable in their own skin. Thank you to everyone who purchased a ribbon and for showing your fantastic school support.
