KGV students take the runway at Panache 9

Panache, KGV’s annual charity fashion show, was back on Saturday, 2 March for a night of bedazzling fashion and exciting entertainment. Panache is hosted and organised entirely by KGV students as it returned for another year to showcase some of the latest fashion including a collection of biomimicry inspired outfits which BTEC Art and Design students designed. Their ideas were based on biological entities and processes featuring students own surface patterns inspired by Horst P. Horst’s book ‘Patterns in Nature’.

The event raised over $150,000 for our four school charities. Panache ultimately allows students to have a platform to showcase their creativity, whether in modelling or design. A special thanks to all the student and staff leadership on the night to produce an awe-inspiring event. Simply put, Panache 9 was at a whole new level, leaving everyone with excitement and anticipation for the next KGV charity fashion show.
