KGV Student Scores Top 1% in Mathematics Competition

KGV is pleased to inform that Adrian Wu (U05M) is awarded for the following prize. He received the AMC 8 Honor Roll of Distinction certification yesterday, taking the test at KGV last November.

KGV student – Adrian Wu(Year 8) scored TOP 1% in American Mathematics Competition 8

Each year, many students from Year 8-9 took part in the annual Mathematical Association of America (MAA)’s  American Maths competition. Congratulations to Adrian who scored in the Distinguished Honor Roll category (AMC 8), placing him in the TOP 1 % of all participants in the world.

The AMC 8 is a leading mathematics competition for middle schoolers and is designed to cultivate the mathematical capabilities of the next generation of problem solvers.
