Inter-School Golf

The Hong Kong Inter-secondary School Golf Championships took place on 17 May – a blistering hot summer day with highs of up to 34°C. Our team of golfers, all of whom represent Hong Kong, donned a different uniform to proudly represent KGV, fighting for the coveted title of Inter-School Golf Champion. We went in with high hopes and prowess and gave it our all. After battling it out, KGV ended up winning a very respectable 3rd Place in the Gross Stableford team competition. In the individual competition we had multiple podium positions: Oscar Hui – 2nd Runner Up B-Grade Boys; Shen Tan – 2nd Runner Up A-Grade Boys; Zoie Chan –  2nd Runner Up C-Grade Girls

As Captain, I am very proud of the entire team. I’d like to thank Mr Beard for coming along and supporting us, HKGA for the wonderful event and HKGC for the pristine course conditions and generous sponsorship. – Shen
