Head of Middle School’s Message

Dear Parents,

Whenever a term comes to an end there is a natural period of reflection. The cold of January and the mist and cloud of February are in the past and we can look forward to spring turning into summer. The Spring Concert this week was a nice way to mark the transition as everyone enjoyed the wide range of musical performances.

The next fortnight provides a break in which students need to recharge as there is still much to be done in the school year. Some of this work will be leading into the next academic year and for Year 10 students an aspect of this will focus on their transition to Senior School. This process will begin as soon as we return from our Easter break with an assembly specifically for Year 10’s and further information going home to parents. Please look out for this information at this time.

On our return to school next term, which will be on Monday 16th April, students need to be prepared with their summer uniform. Please use the time away from school to ensure that your child is able to meet uniform expectations on their return – they do not need to wear ties, but shirts need to be tucked in and proper school shoes need to be worn at all times with their uniform. Please also make sure all their belongings are named so these belongings can, if necessary, be returned via the PTSA Lost Property system.

I hope that you and your families are able to have a restful break over the next couple of weeks. I look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 16th April.

Enjoy the holiday,

James Fisher
