ESF University Fair 2019

Welcome to ESF University Fair 2019!

We are gearing up for the ESF University Fair 2019 on 18 February.  Hope you are, too!

Below are some information in preparation for the Fair.

According to the Hong Kong Observatory, it will be a warm day (20-23 degrees Celsius), mainly cloudy, with a few light rain patches at first for 18 February.  Feel free to check for weather update at the Hong Kong Observatory website.

Rundown of the day is as follows:

12:45-13:30Arrival of Delegates & set up at respective booths
13:30-15:00Year 12 Students from King George V School & Discovery College
14:30-16:00Year 12 Students from Sha Tin College & West Island School
15:30-17:00Year 12 Students from Island School, Renaissance College & South Island School
17:15. 17:45 & 18:30Bus (60-seater) departs KGV for Kowloon Tong MTR Station
First-come-first-served basis.  No pre-registration required.
17:15-18:30Post-Fair Reception @ Leo’s Café, 1/F, Peel Block (one level above School Hall)

International Baccalaureate Careers-related Programme at ESF

Students in ESF secondary schools have the option to take the IB Career-related programme (IBCP).

The IBCP programme was first implemented at Renaissance College.  Graduates of the IBCP programme successfully gained entrance to coveted universities around the world.

Expectations

  • Representatives are to use designated adult toilets which as sign posted.
  • Representatives should not advise students to enter Foundation programmes at the end of Year 12, therefore not completing the IB/BTEC/IBCP programme.
  • University Alumni Representatives should not use the Fair as an opportunity to promote their own/private businesses.

Miscellaneous

  • Promotional materials received before 16 February will be distributed to relevant booths.
  • Registration is at the Reception desk in the Foyer. Don’t forget to collect your ESF goody bag.
  • KGV School map is available at the Reception or
  • Tea & Coffee stations are outside Hall & Careers Office
  • Wifi Login & Password: SSID: ESF_Uni_Fair_2019 PW: Fair2019
  • Toilets for students are behind the Quads and Hall.
  • Toilets for adults are on 1/F of Hall at G/F Peel Block and Science Block.
  • School nurse office: G/F, New Block, at the Piazza Garden
  • In case of fire, please proceed to the School Field.
