Cricket training with international stars of Hung Hom Jaguars

KGV cricketers were fortunate to be coached by some of the Hung Hom JD Jaguars team taking part in the T20 Blitz tournament at the Mission Road cricket ground over the next week. Visiting players included international starts Rikki Wessels and Roelof van der Merwe, who have represented England and Netherlands respectively, as well as ex-KGVer Ninad Shah, and our own Aarush Bhagwat from Year 10. Under the watchful guidance of Hung Hom head coach Afzaal Haider, the players organised some stimulating fielding drills, supervised a net practice, then held a question and answer session during which they passed on some useful advice about playing at the top level. It was a fantastic opportunity for our cricketers and we appreciate the time given to us by Hung Hom Jaguars, whilst also wishing them the best for the T10 Blitz tournament!
