Students
within the school are able to speak a wide range of languages
other than English. They are taught one or more modern languages:
French, Mandarin, and German. Linguistic diversity is an enriching
element in the life of the school but it could also be a source
of division between students. For this reason we insist
that all students at all times speak in English both in the
learning environment of the classroom and also in the social
environment of the playground.
