The Careers and Guidance Department at KGV aims to work together with students to help them prepare for their life beyond school. Specialist staff guide students and parents through options processes and procedures for application to institutions of tertiary education all over the world. We work in conjunction with Careers teams in other ESF schools to develop closer links with institutions both in Hong Kong and abroad. Information sessions by outside speakers and KGV staff are organised for students on a regular basis, mock interviews are offered to support university applicants, and parents and students are welcome to arrange personal consultations with our Careers staff. In our Careers Resources Centre we aim to offer a wide variety of materials to help students research the opportunities available to them. We also inform students on an ongoing basis about university fairs and other events in Hong Kong.
