Our bus left KGV at 8.45am as we waved goodbye to our families and friends. Checking in at the HK International Airport took another hour and we spent the remaining time filling our stomachs before boarding on our flight to Beijing, China. Our flight to Beijing went quite smoothly and we even got Haagen Dazs ice cream as dessert (!!)

We arrived at Beijing International Airport at around 4pm and as I am writing this, Catherine, Steffi, Ingrid Lee and Hannah are playing 'big two' while the others are sharing food. We're waiting impatiently for our flight to Harbin, which is at 8pm and we are scheduled to arrived at Jingwei Plaza Hotel at 10pm.

It hasn't been a day yet and most of us are already feeling slightly lethargic (though still very excited for what's to come in the next few days!).

We arrived at the hotel at about twelve, we had instant noodles, Catherine’s luggage has gone missing…lost somewhere in China. We had a short debriefing before returning to beds. Hotel rooms are fine, the SB spirit is strong.
