Security |
As a school we are concerned about security and have take a number of measures to reduce risk:
√ There is CCTV coverage across the school.
√ Large items of sports equipment are stored at the PTSA office during the day.
√ There is a visitor control system in place.
√ All students are provided with a locker in which they can secure their valuables.
√ We have a safe area for lost articles to be stored.
√ We provide a Musical Instrument storage room.
√ We have a lockable box for PE classes.
KGV does not tolerate any form of theft and reserves the right to always investigate and act when it suspects that theft has taken place. Students are encouraged not to bring expensive items in to school.
Each case of theft at KGV is dealt with individually with consideration being given to the age of the students, their previous conduct and the intention behind the act, with premeditated acts being dealt with more severely.
