Coursework Title
An examination of the moral dilemmas posed for
Christians by AIDS
- The coursework forms 33% of the final mark. The recommended length is 2000
- 2500 words and it is marked externally.
- Coursework titles are taken from a bank of titles provided by the board
and selected by the school. If you wish to see the full selection of titles
then see Ms Woollett. However we would prefer you to stick with our
selection - it helps us keep track of all the work.
- The Specification states that the work must be written by the student and
should include a bibliography which indicates the materials used just for
consultation and those for extensive research.
- It is imperative that candidates ensure that their work is legible, we
recommend that the work is typed.
- It is also important that you do not lose your work. Store your work on
the computer network at school as well as on disc and your own hard drive.
- Keep a record of all materials that you use - don't take notes from a
piece of work and then forget the title - try and keep all your rough work
in a file.
- You can sub divide your coursework if you wish and you can include
footnotes, appendices and a glossary.
- Do not embellish for the sake of including more information - it is more
important that you stick to the title.
