• Ariel Sharon’s visit to the Temple Mount in September, 2000.
• Sharon’s election
• Suicide bombers and the response of the Israeli defence forces – 2 famous ones June 1, 2001 – a disco and August 9, a pizza shop.
• Arafat in Ramallah – Sharon confines him to home with tanks
• The decision to build the fence
