Arab /Israeli conflict

 

Aim: To learn more about the reasons for the current problems in the Middle East

All religions have a version of the "Golden Rule" - do unto others as you would have them do unto you or 'love your neighbour as yourself'. Unfortunately, many of the world's conflicts are based on religious issues and it is clear that many religious people are not following their own teachings. One of the biggest areas of conflict today is in the Middle East and focuses on two big religions - Judaism and Islam. The Arab /Israeli conflict is a dilemma that affects the whole world and has been raging for the past 60 years. Your mission is to look at one stage of this conflict and report on it in a 'CNN' way. The stages in this conflict will be:
