What am I supposed to do?

Write an essay of no more than 1500 words on "Religion and Wealth and Poverty"

In your answer you should:

a)

• Outline (describe) the teachings of Christianity AND one other religion on wealth and poverty. Make sure your description is based on FACT - use scriptural references and other sources to prove what you are saying is true!

• Explain why there is a need for world development.

• Analyse and explain the work of one Christian agency working for world development. It is not enough to simply describe their work here - how successful are they? What are their motives?

Remember - this section is worth 4 marks for each part and you only have 1500 words in total - be clear and to the point!

b) Give your response to the view that: "There should be no rich people as long as there is poverty in the world"

Give reasons for your answer and show that you have thought about more than one point of view. Make sure you refer to at least one religion - two would be better.
