Our Mission

The Nightingale Website is dedicated to providing you up-to-date information on our plans for world conquest and your part in our great scheme, in a relaxing and aesthetically pleasing setting. If you have complaints, please contact us.

Our project aims, as set out by Ms. Block, are:
  • A homepage for your House, showing photos of those very hard working people who are the Heads of House with their deputies (i.e. Head Girl and Boy plus each deputy)
  • A page to show the names of the Captains of each activity, i.e. Name of the boy and girl heading for example, "Music"
  • A page to show the names of the Year Coordinators plus the names of the Form Representatives
  • The site should be easy to navigate for those more techno phobic amongst us
  • The site should reflect the colours and aims of the House represented
  • Each house should submit one site only
  • Younger students wishing to participate should contact their own House Web Team from Years 13 & 12.
  • The site will be judged on presentation, technical merit and the ability to meet the above requirements
  • Further details may be posted to this area of the school website so check it now and again!!
  • The websites will be checked periodically by Miss Block (approximately every 2 months) so keep them up to date

Your part in all of this

You can help Nightingale win the Website Competition (which brings house points). If you have taken photos at an interhouse event featurning Nightingales, email me to see how you can get them to me. Please feel free to find me too if you have original, Nightingale-themed artwork to submit - in particular I am looking for a banner for the site, preferably 730px wide. If you are a captain and have an announcement to make on your particular event, please also contact me.
