LEC Swim Gala

On the 13 Sep, ahead of the whole school event, the LEC held their first ever school based Swim Gala! In an attempt to score as many house points as possible, 13 budding swimmers took to the pool to join in with aqua aerobics, races and free play.

Accompanied by volunteers from Ms Howells year 12 PE class, the students swam width after width to the sound of motivational music and crowd cheers.Mr Blackshaw and Ms Beer attended to present medals and to cheer from the side-lines.

It was a fantastic event that was enjoyed by all; we already can’t wait for next year. A special thank you to the student volunteers and to Ms Howell for supporting the LEC in putting on the event.
