Head of Middle School’s Message

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to Term 3. As milestones go Year 13 Graduation is an important one and it is always a pleasure to see our students prepare for their final steps at KGV. Within the Middle School we are preparing for our own transition – Year 10 students moving up to Senior School. As part of this process students have been asked to write a personal statement to introduce themselves to the Senior School team, particularly their new tutor. Details of what to do have been shared with all concerned and we look forward to receiving these introductions which should be given in to the Senior School Office by 3.20pm on Friday 27 April.

Work Experience beckons for Year 10 Students too. Running from Monday 14th to Friday 18th May this is an opportunity for our students to get a taste of the real world. To help with preparations for this we are asking all students to have secured their placement by the start of next week, Monday 23rd April. Questions should be directed via LPS teachers and the Careers Department are also on hand to help.

Believe it or not Challenge Week 2018 is already very much in our minds. The first meeting for all trips took place this week and the excitement is building. Should you have any questions about your child’s trip please do get in touch with the trip leader.

Have a good weekend.
