UN Project Waterworld

You work for a company that specialises in the management of water resources around the world.  The United Nations is offering a multi-million dollar contract to provide advice to governments about how best to manage their water resources. 

As a first start, you will need to present information about world water use to the UN General Assembly in the form of a PowerPoint presentation (around 5-6 slides) that explains:

1. Where supplies of fresh water come from
2. Why do supplies vary around the world
3. What water is used for.
4. using examples, explain some of the problems that occur when people try and manage their water resources.

You will be in competition with other companies trying to win this lucrative contract, so your presentation needs to be:

• Informative
• Interesting
• Well presented using relevant visuals and explanation.

These can be found using your notes, the video we have seen and the information we have taken from the textbook (Onion p150 onwards). If you use other resources, remember to include a BIBLIOGRAPHY.

The presentation needs to last around 5 minutes and use no more than 7 slides with a minimum of 5.

You will need to use visuals and quote figures to support the presentation of each point by using examples.
