Dedication, integrity and loyalty. These three words best describe the KGV Charity Committee. Every year, fund raising activities and generous donations have enabled us to make a difference in the lives of many. Fund raising activities that have been undertaken throughout the year have included: Year 7 Jumble Sale, Year 8 Bake Sale, Pedal Kart sponsorship, Dress Down Days, Mini-World Cup, Dodgeball tournament, Haunted House, Spellathon, 48 Hour famine, in addition, a range of school events such as ‘KGV’s Got Talent’, in which the Charity Committee has provided parents and students with food and drink.
This year, the committee has already raised money from three very successful events. With the junior, middle and senior school committees, the KGV Charity Committee is striving to reach new heights by raising awareness helping people on a wider scale.
