ITINERARY
Day 1 Dep HK
Day 2 Arrive
Marrakech
Day 3 Marrakech
Cultural Acclimatization: Morning at Koutoubia Mosque, shopping in medina,
dining and entertainment in Djemaa el Fna square. Our hotel is at the centre of
this spectacular old fortified city.
Day 4 Morning bus
journey through Atlas Mountains to Animiter, visiting the beautiful city of
Telhouet. Continue last part of the journey to Tighza Valley and home stay.
Late afternoon's walk round village to acclimatize and first CAS activities.
Day 5 Mule Trek
to the azure Lake Tamda (for camping overnight under stars) between two great
mountains, Jebel Anghomar and Jebel Tamda. Fossil hunting will be possible en
route.
Day 6 Trek back
to Tighza Valley and home stay. Afternoon CAS activities.
Day 7 Final CAS
activities. Return by afternoon bus for overnight stop in Marrakech.
Day 8 Dep
Marrakech
Day 9 Arrive HK
Creative - North African cooking, opportunities for photography,
sketching/painting
Action - Hill walking in Atlas Mountains, fossil hunting, bartering
