Challenge Week Photography Journalist – NEW!

Proposed itinerary

Students will have the opportunity to develop their photography skills by photographing the other challenge week activities taking place in Hong Kong. We will visit activities such as: Windsurfing, Sailing, Tai Chi, Golf, Horse riding, Rock School, Go Wild, Ice Hockey, Project Runway and many more…………… Students will improve their camera skills through experimentation with manual settings such as shutter speed and aperture.

We will spend several hours in school editing the photographs on Photoshop CS3 where students will have the opportunity to get creative with their work.

We will also take a helicopter ride enabling students to get some great shots of Hong Kong from the sky.

This activity will suit students who already have a keen interest in photography. Students should have their own digital SLR camera which they are comfortable using at a basic level. This activity would also suit students who have already taken the Digital Photography Challenge Week activity in previous years.

We will have some competitions during the week; photographs will be displayed around school and may be used for school publicity.
