YEAR 7 & 8 CAMP

BRIEF ITINERARY

This is still very much under construction at the moment – we are looking to find cheaper options in order to alleviate the financial burden on parents. We will provide all students in current P6 and Year 7 with a more detailed itinerary after Easter.

The focus of the camp will be vertical tutoring and house team building/ identity and participation. Our provisional itinerary will be:

Monday – all students participating in outdoor pursuits and activities organized by external agencies*

Tuesday – all students to take part in a “treasure hunt”/ orienteering exercise organized by external agencies*

Wednesday – all students at KGV for the day for the “Peer Support Happening” – a day’s events organized in form groups and run by Senior Students

Thursday – all students involved in Year 7 and 8 Inter House Cross Country. Students also to practice for either Inter-house Dance/ Music Ensemble’s the following day

Friday – Inter House Challenge Week Cup – all students to participate in at least two inter house activities of which at least one of them will be Dance Ensemble or Music Ensemble. We will also hold a variety of other inter house competitions that day culminating in the Music and Dance competition at the end of the day which will be open to parents.

*Possible overnight stay – we are looking at prices at the moment
