BRIEF ITINERARY: The trip is organized by Snow
Leopard Adventures, Ms. J Edwards and Mr. J Prichard. *A detailed itinerary is available
on request. To get a taste of how great this trip will be log on to

One: Fly HK to Delhi. Stay in a hotel in Delhi Day
Two: Travel to Agra (express train: 2 hours). Tour of ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri. Visit to the Taj Mahal.
Visit to Fort Agra. Return to Delhi on the express train. Sleep at hotel in
Delhi. Day Three: Travel from Delhi to Haridwar by
train. Visit to sacred bathing spot of the River Ganges to watch prayer
ceremony. Visit to temple. Travel to Snowleopard Adventure Camp in Rajaji
national park. Sleep at camp. The camp is deluxe, permanent and landscaped.
It has western facilities and high quality food. Day Four: Cycling and Yoga in Rajaji
national park. Followed by afternoon visit to a local orphanage where we will
have a inter-active service session with the children. Sleep at Snow Leopard
camp. Day Five: Full day trekking with a visit to
a hill village, panoramic views of the Ganges valley and finally a visit to
the town of Rishikesh in the lap of
the Himalayas, where we will visit an Ashram (House with a Guru). Return to
camp and sleep at camp. Day Six: Visit to a
local school for exchange and service session with the students. In the afternoon
we will go white-water rafting. In the evening you will learn some basic
outdoor skills and first aid. Sleep at Snow Leopard camp. Day Seven: Travel by
train to Delhi and spend time shopping at Dilli Haat, a food market and craft bazaar
in the heart of Delhi. Fly back to HK. Creative - Visit to Ashram (House with a Guru), Action - Trekking, White-Water Rafting, Cycling, Yoga,
Outdoor Skills. Service - We will visit both a local orphanage and a local
school where we will have inter-active time with the children/students. |
