Island is simply jaw-dropping making it one of the world's
most stunning regions. Here is a taste of what you will be doing. Fiordland and Milford Sounds are home to some of the most beautiful day/multiday walks
in the world. These included the famous Routeburn Track and Milford track. We will be completing a one day walk in this
area and may even walk part of the aforementioned tracks. This is also
a chance to take part in a service activity- Takahe Bird Conservation Project. What better way to explore the sounds and fiords
than by boarding our private charter boat? An overnight cruise on board
the Milford Wanderer is a unique adventure. With our nature guide and
friendly crew, we will cruise the full length of the fiord. Keep a
lookout for wildlife, especially fur seals basking on the rocks. There
is plenty of time available for you to go exploring in the kayaks and tender
craft. As the shadows deepen the Milford Wanderer returns under sail to
Harrison Cove for the night. In our cosy saloon we will enjoy a
delicious meal before sleeping on board the yacht in our bunk room
accommodation. What a day!Our
guides will introduce New Zealand flora and fauna as we explore off trail New
Zealand . Take your seat in the powerful Shotover Jetboat and be ready for the Shotover Jet experience. It’s an adrenaline rush you’ll never forget! From
the moment the accelerator hits the floor, your adrenaline hits the roof as
you power through the Shotover River and deep into
the Shotover River canyons! It^s
an amazing ride, as the Shotover Canyon walls tower
over you, and your driver skillfully whips the boat past rocky outcrops, and
skims around crags and boulders. You will also have a once in a lifetime
opportunity to ride the actual horses that featured in Lord of the Rings
movies! There is a range of horses available to accommodate all riders, from
first timers to those who have been riding all their life! You will be
transported to Middle-Earth astride your own steed! Probably the most
scenic horse rides in the world, and a must for The Lord of the Rings' fans.
Skyline Luge – it’s 800 metres of
fast-paced freedom.Burn it up on the fast track or
cruise sedately down the scenic track. |
