Celebrating the success of our students!

A huge congratulations to  Jennifer Li Ding (Year 12), Cherry Chun (Year 13), Owen Kam (Year 13) won the scholarships and awards from HKU Academy for the Talented.

‘It is our honour to receive the award and represent the school. In particular, the scholarship scheme has effectively removed the financial burden for applications of HKU summer programmes.

I am also looking forward to the mentorship programme, as this opportunity will allow me to integrate myself into the HKU student life and truly experience the life of a medical student.

This opportunity and privilege has solidified my determination to get into medical school in HKU.

The HKU Academy of Talented has enabled me to further pursue my interest in STEM-related endeavours, such as scholarships for programmes to expand my passion in the Medicine. It has also given me the opportunity to attend the International Symposium of STEM Education, where I collaborated with a group using virtual reality technology to propose an Artificial Intelligence job-finding app, Jobbo, to a group of entrepreneurs. I also wish to express my thanks to KGV for giving me this opportunity to join the academy and look forward to more experiences in the future.
