General Certificate of Secondary Education Exam

We are also delighted to announce a record breaking set of GCSE results at KGV.  All the work of individual students and their teachers have produced a stunning set of overall results.  Congratulations to everyone who contributed and it was delightful to see so many relieved and happy faces when the results were given out this afternoon.

27.3% of the grades awarded were at A* (26.1% in 2008), 55.6% were at A or A* (53.1 % in 2008).
94.7 % of the grades awarded were at C or better (93.5% in 2008), 100% were at G or better (99.9 % in 2008)

The results at A/A* and A-C were the best ever, beating the previous records set by the 2005 cohort.
