Opening key note address

KGV School Principal Mark Blackshaw delivering his opening key note address to ESF KGV School staff this morning.

Mark spoke about gratitude, and how being a teacher and leader in our school is such an honour and privilege. He also clarified the school purpose, vision and values and how professional collaboration is the key to improving the quality of the teaching and learning for our students experience.

Staff also discussed the school 2018-19 improvement priorities and the alignment to our vision to create a ‘school for one’, a place where every student feels a sense of connection, belonging and maximises their learning potential. There is a sense of optimism and positivity about our future and how KGV School can become an even better place for our students and community.
